I am in disbelief at all the amazing responses to our Christmas Giveaway! Almost 500 comments were left for this contest, and it was so amazing to go through and read all of your favorite Christmas gifts. There were some really funny ones, some sad, some were joyous, and even some stories that were bitersweet!
I had no idea that we’d get such a fantastic response, and it was so much fun to go through and read what was shared, I felt like I was getting a special glimpse of everyone and what was most precious to them.
If you have the chance too, you should go through the comments and read them, some are so heartwarming that you just need to grab a cup of hot chocolate and start scrolling!
Anyway, on to the winners of the contest. I used Random.org to choose the winners for me and wouldn’t you know that I got two numbers right after eachother!
Comment #354 Beth who said: “The most precious Christmas gift I ever received was a plane seat home one Christmas Eve. I had been working in a missions school in Oklahoma and had wanted to go home for Christmas. I went to the airport and found that there was over 100 people already on stand by. As I waited in the termanel a man began talking to me and told me that everything would work out fine and God was sending me home for Christmas. I suddenly heard my name called for boarding standby — I was shocked and turned to thank the gentleman — but he had just vanished — I was standing alone by the window. I believe God sent an angel to help me get home”
Comment #355 Sheri who said “The best gift I ever gave was a Glock 27. I knew my husband REALLY wanted it but it was expensive. So I saved all of my “spending†money for six months and bought it for him. The range of expressions on his face was priceless! ,When he felt the box, before he even opened it, he thought it might be it, there was hope on his face, and then the reality that we could not afford it, so his expression changed back to normal then when he unwrapped it and saw the box again there was this glimmer of hope and almost disbelief, but then the look of “no, surely not!†When he finally opened it he was so excited and it was fabulous to not only be able to give him something I knew he really wanted but also to suprise him in such an awesome way! I love to give!!”
Again, Thank you to everyone for sharing your stories with us!
