(Which means we skipped school
got there right when the door opened)
I had a list of things that I was looking for.
I’m happy to report that I got most of them
And a zillion other things that weren’t even on the list.
One such thing is a set of Kid Choices Travel Cards:
These cards are AWESOME!
There are like 100 of them, each with a different “Scenario” written on them.
These are made by David C. Cook and are geared towards children 7-9.
(Meaning there are a few cards I’ll be passing over
because we’re just not quite “there” yet.)
How it Works:
You read the cards to your kids, then they decide what they will do, here’s a sample card:
“You see your friend slipping something under her coat in the grocery store. Do you confront her about it?”
Needless to say Sissy L-O-V-E-S them
Bub, on the other hand usually chooses the wrong.
(Don’t know where he gets it from)
But anyway, On my skipping school, do your worksheets in the van, homeschool sale adventure day….I was thinking of you!
Yes You!
And I grabbed an extra set of these marvelous moral cards just to give to you!
So thoughtful right?
Next week I’m giving away custom wood paddles.
(Cuz’ Ya’ll need to get your kids in line A-SAP)
;) Ahem… Just kidding
Anyway, if you dare to admit that you want these cards, leave me a comment below, and I’ll choose a winner Friday November 13th.
Till then, you’ll just have to deal with the real life “scenarios” your children present you with.
Good Luck!
These look like a good conversation starter!!
We would love to use these! Thanks!
These would be great to use with my 7-(almost 8)-year-old son!

GREAT idea! My family would love these!
These sound great! I would love to get them.
We are right in that age range and have the same issue as you; an oldest daughter who “does the right thing” most of the time and two little rebels who need lots of talking-to about doing the right thing. Thanks for the opportunity. Great for the trips to see family during this time of year!
These sound so cool! Id love to have them – what great discussion starters!
I love a good sale!! Those unexexpected items you weren’t looking for are usually the ones that are a God send.
You know, I was laways worried about my boys who always want to be the bad guys whenever they have the choice!!!(in games of course),but once I asked them why and this is what they said: you know mummy the bad guys are cool because they can do what they want without bad conscience !!! What do you think of that!!!We need to persevere in education, it is worth doing your job as a homeschooling mum Can you imagine them in the school system???By the way I would love to try one set of these cards Thanks for your hard work You are really an inspiration to us all.
wow that would be awesome. I have a 7 year old boy and a 9 year old boy/ Perfect! :)
These cards sound awesome. With seven kids ages 12yrs-9mo they would be a great resource for a long time.
These are exactly what I’m looking for! It would be great to put 1 or 2 ofthese in a workbox for discussion.
You always have such great ideas!
Oooo – I love this idea!
would love these cards could use them when im working with the children in church
Sounds really cool! I love stuff like this… :-)
Wow! What a great idea. I’m in a unique situation as I run a small Christian private school from my home for K-12th grades. I’m enjoying homeschooling my own tow children as well as other people’s children. I currently have some students that came from public schools that don’t really understand right from wrong. In addition to educating these children academically, I’m teaching them character training with Christian values and morals. I really think this would be a great way to stir up conversations with them during our morning openings.
