How to Make Paper Mache

We use a basic paper mache recipe. It’s very simple to remember, and you can whip it up very quickly for all of your projects. Paper Mache is basically a runny version of glue using flour. It dries a bit stiff but it easily adheres thin paper to different surfaces. It’s very fun to work with, as children love any opportunity to get sloppy!

Materials:

Equal Parts of Flour and Water

Step 1

Put two cups of flour into a mixing
bowl.

Step 2

Add two cups of warm water.

Step 3

Stir, Stir, Stir……

Step 4

Your paper mache is ready when it’s
nice and goopy/runny without any
lumps.

All Done!
