Crafts
  • Show children images of our
    solar system the planets. (colors,
    sizes, distances, rings ect.....)
  • Teach children how amazing it is
that God put Earth in just the right
spot, we're not to close or to far
    away from the sun.
This colorful craft can be out of
this world if you use Glow in the
Dark paint!  Children love how
easy it is to make something so
spectacular, and it opens up
discussions on God's marvelous
creation.
Step 1
Get a styrofoam ball and choose an
old CD that you no longer need.
Step 2
Slice your ball in half with a
knife....be careful, this is kind of
tricky :)
Step 3
Use you're Glow in the Dark paint
to add colors all around the planet.
Remind children why planets are
different colors.
Step 4
Paint both sides of your CD with
paint.
All Done!
Glue your two halves to the cd, and
you've got a fun planet you can
hang in your room.  Using a needle
and fishing wire to make it look like
it's hanging in the air.
