Children love sorting sea shells. Simply sorting them by shape makes a great activity for preschool aged children and the older ones love to learn the different names of all the shells. I found so many different “names” for the shells, you’re welcome to change them as needed. If you live near a beach you can certainly find your shells on an afternoon stroll, or by taking a quick visit to a souvenir shop. If not, you might take a peek at the sea shell sets available online, just be sure you figure out what size and what variety you’ll be getting first.
