Dinosaur Report Printables
Each kiddo will be choosing a dinosaur to research,
preparing a written report, presenting an oral speech,
and creating a visual presentation.
I wish I could take credit for this fun idea, but
actually this is an assignment from their Truth in Science curriculum,
a recent addition we made to our Science lessons.
We are loving Truth in Science so far, and this new assignement
was the perfect time to add some fun research printables to our site:
These printables are designed to just the right size to fit on a presentation board!
Children can gather their information, mount these to colored construction paper,
and easily design a crisp looking visual.
And yes, I know that Power point presentations are all the rage,
but there is something so adorable about children’s handwriting on Tri-fold cardboard.
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been collecting links too!
There are so many amazing web resources for teaching about dinosaurs!
This is our first real big research project,
it’s like taking the Unit Study method to a formal level.
And what fun we’re having!

How awesome! I will be doing this with my kids again this year. We did a cool dinosaur theme a few years ago. . . to end it my daughter (4 at the time) did an oral presentation. PRICELESS memories.
