I try and get crafty with my kids. But I have no idea what art is or how to create/teach it.

Last year we were able to take advantage of co-op art classes, but I’m not sure what we will do this coming year!
We didn’t do art this year. I have no talent in that area, haha.
First time visiting Hearts @ Home site and love that they have Apologia,
Art has been sadly lacking in our homeschool year this year, Besides the odd craft session we have done very little
There is so Many do I have to choose?

We have been doing a Charlotte Mason Type Artists Study for the last few months. And I was surprised at how easy it has been. These DVDs look great.
We have been painting composers with watercolors while listening to their music. But we really need to add some more art to our homeschool. These look perfect.
I have always had a hard time incorporating art each year. One kiddo has been very resistant to art. However, now he is expressing interest in video game designing. These might be a good way to get him to try more art lessons.
We have been using Artistic Pursuit. One of my kids likes it but the other one is not so fond of it. She wants to try something else.
Wow! You have a lot of publishers participating in the sale! I was happy to see Apologia, Answers in Genesis, & Pearables.
I “liked” your page on facebook & posted sale on my wall.
Well, does a free-for-all with craft supplies count as “incorporating art”? :) We are really good at making messes, but I’m hoping to focus on a few essential art skills in the future!
Audio Memory Publishing is a great resource on their summer sale!
We have studied some of the famous artist… Davinci and Michelangelo. One fun things we did while studying Michelangelo is had the kids paint on their backs like he did. We taped paper to the bottom of tables, had them lie on the floor and paint reaching up – it was a stretch. : ) They had a lot of fun. There were a lot of little arms shaking from the strain. : )
My girls took an art class at a local church. They loved it, but we had to drop out when hubs lost his job. The plan for next year is to go to the art museum at least every couple of months, unless I win this giveaway of course :-).
I love Christian Liberty Press. They have some awesome science readers. : ) I am glad to see that vendor….
I’m struggling. I need help. I umm . . . haven’t been doing art with the kids. Please help. I love art. I just haven’t taught it. Pretty please.
We home school and did not incorporate art . . . yet. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Biblical art program for my 3 little kiddos!
I am happy to see Answers in Genesis. And I have ordered from Hearts at Home. Sweet people.
I shared on Facebook about this giveaway. Thanks BTW!

I haven’t incorporated (gasp) art into my daily lessons. I do good to get the basics covered, but now with my youngest going into 2nd grade, and I’m taking in my neighbor to school her in the 2nd grade, I’m ready to give them some fun electives. My others will totally enjoy this too.
I’ve always let the kids paint and sculpt with clay or playdoh but this was the first year we tried an art program- I Can Do All Things. They seemed to really enjoy it but after two or three months, I think they were frustrated that their skill level was not improving. So they dragged their feet through the various art projects and I went back to free style- paint whatever, however you want! But I know they would love to be able to get their idea in their mind out to their creation! We’d love to win and give it a go!!
Have always loved Hearts at Home and their store. Have bought many things over the years, including Christian Liberty Press, Apologia, Wrap Ups, and sometimes tried something new and unknown just because the price was good!! Thanks Hearts at Home!
Shared on FB! Already like H@H and you!!
We have just started to look into doing some art. We have done a few projects we found on the internet and have joined in the fun of “Sketch Tuesday” at Barb Harmony’s blog. http://harmonyartmom.blogspot.com/p/what-is-sketch-tuesday.html We could use more direction in art! Thanks!
I’m part of a co op and we put on a play this year. The kids made there own costumes and some props as well as all the sets. It took all year but we had a great dinner theater in the end.
I have been looking for an art program as I am art challenged which is why I dont really have an art program for our school time to this point. I noticed last year that my daughter has some natural talent and so its time to let her nurture that!
Shared this great deal and the sale on Facebook!
liked, FB, and loved seeing apologia the notebook option is a creative spot.
The extent of our art time consists of multiple trips to our local library and museums – the kids have a great time learning how to apply new techniques. :)
*great giveaway!
We use Draw Write Now in conjunction with whatever else we are studying. It is a great tool for giving my kids confidence to sketch/draw, but I need to incorporate more mediums into our curriculum.
I have not been that good with incorporating art this year. My kids both took an art class at our coop. We have also been working on a ‘Paint by number’ project.
I could really do with the help!
I am glad to see Charlotte Mason!

My daughter loves art and since I am unable to help her in this area (my specialty is stick people and stick animals)she’s been attending art classes at our local art museum (Mobile Museum of Art). It is a great program every other Thursday for two hours in the afternoon she can draw, paint and create to her hearts desire! I would love to have these dvds to use at home because she can never get enough art or craft activities! Thanks for the opportunity!
Glad to see Rock-n-Learn on hearts for home! My kids love checking these out from the library! She’s learned an awful lot about science through these dvds.
I need to incorporate more art in our school day. The kids love it, I just need to add it in a few times a week. This dvd set would be great!
We have used Draw Squad for just a little bit of art everyday.
Happy to see answers in Genesis. We currently use their science program.
Haven’t really incorporated much Art but would really like to. DD loves to color and draw pics. This would be a great blessing for us. Thanks for hosting.
We did incorporate art into our school curriculum by doing the occasional art project that went along with what we were learning in American History and once a week, we planned on looking at one of the paintings in “Come Look With Me” and discussed it. We also attempted to do an art curriculum but it was fairly time consuming and we never seemed to be able to fit it in. So I feel like we need to do more art this coming year because my oldest is very art oriented and it is something she is good at so I need to encourage that.
We studied many different artists and then did similar art projects. Then we displayed them on a wall like an art museum.
We drew sight and spelling words; sculpted clay organs and body systems for life science; and used multiple mediums in craft projects. We do need a curriculum soon. Thanks for asking.
Great stuff. I am glad to see my favorites ti include Apologia!
I liked your page on fb :)
At Hearts at Home, love seeing AiG, CLP, Diana Waring, and Twin Sisters. (We’re quite eclectic around here as this shows)!
I am glad to see the vendors: Common Sense Press and Apologia at Hearts @ Home.
This year we combined American history and works from American artists (from ancient clay pots and baskets to metal sculptures and oil paintings). I have two daughters who would really enjoy the art instruction dvd’s!
We just draw! There really is no formal art curriculum that we use, I have a few books but just can’t seem to muster up the inspiration to use them. I think that a DVD would work great for our family.
Blessings,
Monique <
Incorporated art? Oops…I have some supplies and the kids do stuff at our co op. These dvds may be a great addition to our home of 6 kids. I like that they are Christian based :)

Wow-lots of discounts. Bright Ideas Press is one of our favorites!
There are several I am excited to see but I like A journey through Learning. We have enjoyed doing at least one of their lapbooks.

Hi Valerie! Our homeschool curriculum (Heart of Dakota) weaves art into the history topic… so once each week the kiddos have an art experience that relates to what we’re studying in history! Thanks for the chance to win!
Hi Valerie,
Me again… I’m excited to see Nest Entertainment is available over at H@H! (Thanks for another chance to win!)
My 9 year old daughter worked through the Draw, Write Now series this year. She especially enjoyed the animals. After that she started working on perspective drawing, but that’s been more challenging. My kids also draw tiny illustrations with many of their timeline entries. It would be wonderful to have a good program for her to work through to expand her knowledge!
I liked this on Facebook
I’m embarrassed to say we didn’t do an art curriculum this past year. Just the occasional art project that went along with other things we were doing.
We used My Father’s World curriculum this year and incorporated art by doing an art project from each country that we studied. I wish we had more of an instructional program though.
We didn’t, much to my children’s chagrin :( although we are off to a good start this year using Rod and Staff and ARTistic Pursuits.
SeekingHim at gmail dot com
Apologia and AVCO are wonderful to see on your list! We use both of these resources a ton.
I’m excited to see Apologia, BIP, AiG :D
Thankfully, our co-op offered art classes for my oldest last year. The rest of the kids didn’t get much art. Just crayons and occasionally watercolors or gluing. Sad. We could use some help!
I like Apologia!
We harvested, cleaned, and used our own clay for art this year!

I love art but my kids, not so much. I think if I have a little inspiration then they will enjoy it!
I love David Cook! Great company.
We have taken local homeschool art classes and we started a Hands On History curriculum recently.
I am struggling to add visual art to what we do but I have a child that has been requesting drawing lessons. This would be great for us! Than you for the opportunity.
We incorporated art through a class that was offered in our co-op this year. I have always thought art and music education were very important for children, so thank you very much for making this a possibility for someone.
We have been using How great thou ART but have been wanting a DVD style curric. instead.

Wow! The list of publishers was quite impressive. There are so many of them that I use that it is hard to choose which I am most pleased to see. I like Carson-Dellosa books, as well as Moody and YWAM, just to mention a few! :)
My wonderful coop boasts a couple of incredibly talented art educators who led my youngest child in an artist study that included studying & doing their own version of several artists’ works. So thankful for people & programs who can fill in my knowledge gaps.
I am excited to see Charlotte Mason Research, A Reason For..,
Pined it!
Added to my FB.
I live art. Its my passion and I’ve really been trying to share that with other kids not alone my own. This year I had the grand opportunity to do art with a private school/homeschool group. I taught them different drawing technics and we made sculptures using recycled objects…one that we were able to auction off at an event for the school. I would love the chance to win this for the kids.
I’m using Drawing with Children for art with my kids. Would love to try the DVDS!
This past school year, my kids attended a free Young Rembrant Art class once a month. They also did art projects twice a month in their co-op classes. I did an art project with them the 4th week. This upcoming school year, I do not know what we will do for art b/c the Young Rembrant class is no longer offered and co-op is now one day a month. These DVDs would be perfect for us to do!!!
I am most excited to see Apologia and Mystery of History on sale!!!
I’m happy to see Lamplighter and YWAM at the curriculum sale.
We studied artists and their works, breaking it up into the different time periods, and then did similar art projects.
We have used http://www.littleartmonkeys.com/ for art ideas and used books from the library. We have not yet used an actual art curriculum, but my lovelies do art in between assignments to stay busy.
I don’t think we can possibly NOT incorporate art into our homeschool! My oldest daughter loves to draw, paint, sculpt, and scrapbook. We have more art supplies than school supplies!
But one way we did incorporated it was through our notebooking pages. Our topic was the Middle Ages, so we got drawing books from the library that went with our theme and the girls drew some great pictures for their history notebooks.
I did not include any art this past year, much to my dismay. However, I am comitted to scheduling art as part of our curricula this year. This would be a great way to do it!
We do not have a specific art curriculum. We choose to study artist that interest us that week. We also visit art museums and my daughter attends a week art class with a local artist.

I incorporated art with an online half year art class and by attempting to bring art into our history studies. We did one whole project! I love the idea of art, but having no artistic ability myself makes incorporating art difficult.
I was excited to see Memoria Press included in the summer sale and I ordered First Form Latin!
There are a lot of publishers participating in this sale. It was hard to pick just a few but I was glad to see Apologia, Design-A-Study and Trivium Pursuit.
Just pinned it!
I posted on FB about the giveaway. Maybe this will give others an opportunity to enjoy art this coming year, too.

I used to have an art teacher come in and give the oldest kids lessons as I failed art in school. I am very linear and not creative at all. I was not blessed that way. Than, as more and more children came into our lives I couldn’t afford the art teacher and we just didn’t see art as being important enough to continue with the other kids. We always had art materials on hand (paints, crayons, pencils, canvas, and lots of art books) but no instruction. I am now feeling like we need to get back into art as I am finding out that the kids are missing part of expression found in creating. God made the world full of color and deigns so it’s about time our kids began to appreciate that and be able to express themselves through art forms. It also releases tension, anxiety, and develops patience and sharing love with others through a gift that you made yourself with a part of you in it. I can always tell what my little ones are feeling by the pictures they make for me. Sorry for the rant:)
We started the year out with Five in a Row which has a heavy art emphasis. We’ve finished the year with more of an eclectic approach but b/c my daughter loves art so much, she’s always working on something:>)
I usually do lapbooks and so art is usually a craft that goes with a unit of study. My favourite this year was creating a painted collage butterfly like Eric Carle.
I have pinned this contest.
I have facebooked this contest.
My daughter has been using a teach your self to draw book. She loves showing off what she has taught herself, but always asks if she can do an art project. This year I would like to try something a little more structured.
I was super excited to see Apologia at Hearts at Home. We are using the marine life zoology next year and can’t wait! But we still haven’t bought the book yet!
My kids love meet the masters, but I’m looking to expand their art instruction for next year. This looks great!
I teach art at our homeschool co-op so my kids get instruction at least once a week in artistic topics. We also draw or color to go along with history and science.
I am excited to see A Reason For and Answers in Genesis
Put it on Facebook. :D
My 3 children, including my 15 year old, would draw ALL DAY if they had their way. I constantly battle with paper and art projects all over our tight space. I have attempted to be more consistent with having my children do copywork of artist biographies. We get a nice artist bios from the National Gallery of Art. This year, I read the bios, discussed them and then they had to do copywork and cut out the works of art and paste them to the bios.–Tee Jenkins
I’m always thrilled to see Answers in Genesis on vendor lists. That ministry has been such an incredible blessing to my family as we have grown in our convictions re: the inerrancy of God’s Word from the very first verse in Genesis.
I am happy to see Media Angels as one of your vendors.
I tweeted it. ;D
I “pinned” it. :) Have a great day.
I don’t teach my children art at home, but they go to a Christian school for that class.
We do not have a definite Art instructional program. We “do” art things, but are lacking in specific instruction. We should be incorporating more drawing and color palete related items. Since one might call me “art challenged” I am looking for DVD art classes. The DVD series you are featuring look like they would be a perfect fit. I am wondering if these would work for a small group activity for some other homeschool families.
I have two children that love art.Always, I incorporate art proyect at the end of week. Also, visit some exhibits and read about artist.
My daughter’s routinely draw for pleasure. They draw during read aloud times to keep from getting fidgety.
I would love to incorporate more art instruction, but am at a loss of how, not being the artsy type myself.
I have always had a hard time incorporating art. We just started MFW and are doing some art with that, but I would love to actually “see” and learn along with the kids!
These dvds look great!
Our core curriculum this year had a few art projects doing watercolor. We didn’t finish them all but I was glad we did some. My mom also comes over and teaches my boys some colored pencil art instruction 1-2 times a month. These DVDs look awesome!
I shared on Facebook.
My 3 and 7 year old loved Meet the Masters, but then we stumbled into fabulous art classes at two co-ops and through DS7’s charter. It’s such a fun activity to do as a family, though, that I’m looking again for something to enjoy together!
Some of my favorite vendors at Hearts at Home are Apologia, GeoMatters and Answers in Genesis.
We do tons of crafts but would love to incorporate drawing into our life.
I was a slacker in the creative arts department this year! We didn’t do very many projects, lots of cut & paste… The projects we DID do were pretty cool, though! HAHA!! But, my daughter has a HUGE desire to learn to draw… :)
Some of the Vendors we used this year were Christian Liberty Press (for Spelling), and Teacher Created Resources (My Body, for Science). I would DEFINITELY use these again!! They were great!! :)

I just tweeted! :)
Our homeschool curriculum came with an Art book, but finding the projects too simple, I would go on line and search for projects related to what we were studying. The kids love hands on crafting. Also order kits from Oriental Trading. Having four girls so close in age(4, 5, 6, & 8)they all like to do the same project together.
I incorporated art on multiple levels. First I was art docent for their co-op where we learned about the different mediums, elements and principles. Secondly, my children are both very hands on learners so we are constantly incorporating art into our math, science, etc. lessons. During these I make sure to use lots of vocabulary associated with art in order to reinforce their learning and merge the subject matters together.
We did art with fractions, by taking fractions of circles and creating designs with them, then by naming what each fraction was. We also did arts and crafts with lots of coloring, and color mixing to see what we would get.
Sadly, we do not regularly incorporate art into our school although I encourage it with websites and project ideas. We definitely need help in this area.
We participated in a Draw Squad class at our homeschool coop this past school year. So they got a very good overall concept of drawing.
We’re the GASP family you speak of. No art. Mommy fail.
OOOoo! Apologia, Your Story Hour, A Journey Through Learning, and History Alive.
I haven’t taught art yet, but want to this summer and next school year.
I’m glad to see Memoria Press latin products. Great pricing!
My daughter has watched Bob Ross-the Joy of Painting-on PBS. She draws and paints and does computer art all the time. One time I read a portion of the Bible- it was about the ark of the covenant–and I had her draw what she could see in her mind as I read. Later she went on the internet and found pictures of the ark of the covenant and drew what she saw there.
I like Christian Liberty Press and Progeny Press and love Answers in Genesis. I like really like Homeschool in the Woods–but I did not see it listed on your website.
We have never had an “official” art curriculum before!
I can teach them to create but couldn’t draw if my life depended on it!
Thanks!
Carolyne
Creation by Design is always great! This would be super as I teach pre-school thru 2nd grade Sunday school as well homeschool!
Thanks
We didn’t get to art this year but in the past we’ve found it helpful to gather some friends and do art together! We also have used co-ops for this type of “extra class”.
Great website, awesome sale prices! Loved seeing Apologia, Answers in Genesis, Melissa and Doug.
We are part of a Classical Conversations community in Texas and we used Drawing with Children and Great Artists. This sounds like it would be a lot of fun. If we don’t win, I may have to think about buying them.
We have never been very successful at incorporating art. I have good intentions, but then phonics and math seem to get in the way:) Then on to soccer and ballet, and art falls somewhere on the to do list that never gets done. When we have done it successfully, it has been in a co-op setting.
Hope to get these DVD’s and hand off art to a professional!
Art…happened in fits and spurts this year, mostly through our local homeschool co-op and lessons from a few dear art teachers. Would love to find an art curriculum that’s a good fit for our family (this one looks great!) Hope we win :)
My daughter enjoyed a weekly art class this year. She is naturally very creative, so I often let her “go to town” making creations with paints, crayons, markers, do a dots, sock puppets, and seashell collages. This is definitely her favorite way to spend her free time!
I loved seeing Apologia and Mike’s Inspiration Station on there.
Thanks for offering this, I’d love to be entered :)
My dd (4.5) LOVES all kinds of art. So, it’s part of nearly every day “school”.
I’ve never heard of Hearts at Home Curriculum (so thanks or the link) and I’m happy to see they offer Apologia :)
Just pinned it :)
We explore art at random. Weather we are playing with dot art, play dough or building something for cub scouts. One of my older girls loves to draw and then water color her drawing. She is very good on her own.
We had an art class at our co-op. It was great but it isn’t available this year and we need more drawing instruction as well!
We try to incorporate art in whatever lesson we’re doing. Right now we are reading Mr. Popper’s Penguin, so we will do an art project of making a penguin. We have the curriculum Artistic Pursuits waiting for us to start, but that has proven to be more difficult to get to, unfortunately. We’ll keep trying.
Mark Kistler, A Beka, books studying a specific artist, How To (Cartoon, Draw-fill in the blank) type books…we’ve tried many styles and curriculums! Just noticed Mike’s Inspiration Station in a homeschooling magazine and my oldest was intrigued. He’s my cartoonist :-). Would love to see how this encourages him in his love of drawing!
This year we did lots of craft projects geared toward my first-grader and attempted a couple of sewing projects geared toward my third-grader.
I am excited to see Classical Academic Press items on sale!
We were very sporadic about our art activities. I plan on doing art at least once a week this year. I have not really got my plans set for this upcoming year.
I like Apologia. We will be using it again this year.
We used See the light art curriculum this year and loved it. And this is the art curriculum I was looking into for next year. What a blessing it would be to win. Thanks for the giveaway!
I was happy to see a reason for on sale at Hearts at Home.
I tend to be artsy so you would think we do a lot of art. Not so. Sigh…it always gets put aside till all the “important” stuff gets done and by the time it does there is rooms to clean or something! It would be nice to have something I could pop in and let them have fun with it without my having to put everything together for art.
We do a lot of drawing. My kids come to me with an idea about a spaceship they want to build and I send them off to draw it. Then they get to write a sentance about their drawing or tell mom the story which often results in a book :-) we also go to events held by our city parks department or local museum that includes a craft. Most recently a museum showed them how to dry plants they picked (gave them their own press made outcof two small boards and rubberbands) and let them make a picture out of already dried plants. They had a blast!

I would really love to win this great giveaway. This was our first year of homeschooling and to be honest I didn’t incorporate a lot of art study but we did a fair amount of cute craft projects. However, I have discovered my son really loves to draw and these DVDs sound like they would be awesome!
We are a crafty family so we end up doing a lot of craft projects through the year. We do things like polymer clay, painting, photography, etc. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
I am glad to see Drive Thru History on Hearts at Home’s website. I am looking for a good history program and so I like that it is on sale at HAH.
I added a post on Facebook about the giveaway.
This year we have began focussing on what we call History of Music, the Arts and Invention. We have been looking at the greats in each of these areas and then relaxing about how much paint, paper and resources that the children consume and they have really produced some very creative works.
This year we used K12 curriculum for our art.
My kids generally love art. They love to draw. One way we incorporate art to display is through the seasons. This past year we worked on symmetry in the fall and used leaves. For the winter we used pine trees, snow men and sledding to demonstrate perspective and symmetry. These drawings go in a frame that gets displayed by our dining room table. Its kept simple, small amounts of learning in large amounts of fun!
AiG and Apologia are my favorites.
Art is often a class they take at a homeschool school. Lol. But my boys love to sketch and I would love to encourage and build that skill.
I shared on FB for this giveaway.
I also tweeted this giveaway.
We love art in this home and do our best to incorporate it at least every week. This was also our first year with Classical Conversations in Grove City, Ohio and we did some fun art at class each week as well. They used Great American Artists and learned some drawing techniques as well.
Last year art was an after thought. I bought a third grade A Beka art book but it turned out to be random arts and crafts which my son loathed.

We did well at first, doing many projects from various art books & blogs. Then, mid-year, we slowed way down in the art department. Fortunately, I have a great friend who teaches art out of her home & a few of the kiddies went there. So this year was a mixed bag in the art department!! Hope to win the DVD’s and be even more consistent next year!
I went over to Hearts at Home & checked out the vendor sale. I have to admit, I was very excited to see Progeny Press. I love their study guides!
I “PINNED” this great DVD set on Pinterest :-)
Each week we do fun crafts and one day a week we have a hand craft day.
We kind of did spur of the moment crafts and art projects based around holidays birthdays and seasons. We were not very organized and consistent… Hopefully these DVDs would help us!
We do lots of crafts, including painting and drawing.
I shared on Facebook!
I am so happy to see Apologia! I love their science books!
I started off strongly with lots of good intentions, but most got pushed aside. (where is the embarrassed smiley when you need it?)
I like the Apologia series
Art has been more of a challenge for me since my kids are a bit older and not so excited about doing “craft projects”. These DVDs would be a great addition to our homeschool!
We love Apologia!
We do all types of art everyday! It is is an essential part of our learning
This year we signed up for Mark Kistler’s Online Drawing Lessons for my 7th grader. I assign one to two lessons per week and she loves it. She has made amazing progress and now draws on paper placemats in restaurants, napkins, notebooks, etc. and improves upon what the online classes taught. It was a great deal for a 3 year membership and so worth it.
So glad to see Bright Ideas as a vendor. We used Mystery of History Vol. 2 this year and plan to continue with MOH 3. The timeline project that hangs in our hallway is a lasting reminder of all the history we learned (I say we because I sure learned a lot!!). I highly recommend it.
I’m excited to see Design-A-Unit!!
I facebooked! Thanks!
I tweeted!
We used confessions of a homeschooler’s art curr. And we have weekly art lessons at our house with about 10 other kids!
I am a certified art teacher that left teaching in public school to homeschool my children. I am currently the art teacher for our co-op. I teach classes for all ages. I would love this DVD set to add to my curriculum choices.
We didn’t do as much art this year as I would have liked. We did a few history based art projects and I just purchased Mark Kistler online. I would love to win a good art curriculum!
I was glad to see Apologia on sale.
We do different craft projects and use books and on-line researching for different education on mediums and such. We do lots of field trips to galleries and art museums and the monthly art walks around the city! Both girls will be enlisted in a extra art class this coming fall also. We love art in this family!!!
We did a history of painting for art this year, and then made an accordion-style display of their artwork of different time periods (mimicking the masters) for their homeschool group art fair display It turned out pretty neat:)
I liked this on Facebook!
My son does art through our homeschool co-op and a homeschool art class through a cultural center in an town near us.
I’m very happy to see Apologia Educational Ministries.
I’m planning to buy Easy Grammar books. They cost less on the Hearts at Home site than they do at my usual spot to save.
I *gasp* did not incorporate art this year but am determined to next year!!
Happy to see apologia!
I pinned this giveaway
I facebooked this giveaway :)
I gave my daughter several craft books and she took off with them on her own, raiding our craft supplies to make all sorts of objects d’art.
I’m happy to see Moody Press at the Hearts at Home Curriculum Summer Sale.
Tweeted about this giveaway.
Our goal was to do art one time a week and we mostly succeeded!
We did a Charlotte Mason style picture study. Once a week we would look at a picture by that term’s artist, and then the kids would describe the picture from memory. Also, we played Famous Artists J-I-N-G-O. Both activities are more art history, I guess. My kids all love to draw and I need to incorporate more real art lessons in our curriculum.
Actually, I start homeschooling my grandson next year and we’re very excited!
God’s Gardener looks like a great addition to our curriculum! I’m excited about a lot of “new” things for our next year!
I noted this giveaway on my facebook account! Thanks!
We are fortunate in that a teenage girl of a local homeschooling family is offering art lessons once per week throughout the summer. Our two sons both participate -it’s a blessing!
I am ashamed to say we did very little art last year.. :( That is why this prize would be so GREAT!! ART AT MY FINGER TIPS.. or TV any way.. LOL
Thank you!!
Shared this wonderful art prize on FB…

We didn’t have a formal art time during the year, but my kids love to draw and color and did their own thing.
Happy to see Christian Liberty Press.
