Raising REAL Men: A Timberdoodle Review

There is just something unique about boys.

They are in constant need of adventure:

They enjoy creepy things:

And Slimy Things:

And REALLY Slimy things:

They don’t mind a little bit of dirt:

And they see the world from a completely different perspective:

They are just Boys
who will soon be MEN.

I have 3 of these little adventure seekers,
and if there is one thing I’ve learned in
my few 6 “BoyMom” years it’s that:

Boys are unique. They are different.
They are hard for me to understand.
They do the exact opposite of what I think they would do.

But the biggest difference that I’ve noticed,
is that Boys require SO MUCH MORE OF MY TIME,
SO MUCH MORE OF MY PATIENCE, and SO MUCH MORE OF MY PATIENCE

Oh and did I mention SO MUCH MORE OF MY PATIENCE?

(Yes, I’m aware that typing in CAPS is akin to yelling…that’s what I”m doing right now)
And I’d like to follow up all that yelling with a extra bold sigh:

SIGH.

There. Okay. Got it all out.
But really……Raising boys is tough.
(And I’m only 6 years in.)

Raising boys to be REAL men, is even harder.
