Often I’m asked what we like about homeschooling
(besides saving $250/child/month for private school)
and usually I’ve got a few “perks” that I rattle off….
You know the standard

“I get to be home with the kids…”

“Each child is approached from their learning ability…”

“It’s kinda fun….”

Ect. You know them all right?

Well, another perk of homeschooling is that you often get hands on learning experiences:

And one of the CONS of homeschooling is that you often get hands on learning experiences:

Sheesh. Really?
That’s what I get for bringing out the bugs during handwriting.
Perhaps it will pass as a period.

    Hi
I didn’t know how to contact you through the file folder game site but totally love your work!
I have tried to download the new expanded notation math file folder game and it appears that there is a double up of files with page 2 the same as page 1.
Hope you can fix it – we have been doing this with my 4 kids this week.

Thanks for all your hard work

    Fiona

  • Yesterday the boys wanted some cucumbers so I sent my 12 year old out to the garden. Seeing he was having trouble I went to help him and after some discussion we decided the visitor we had was a baby armadillo. It was so cute, 1 foot from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail. My 14 year old wanted to pick it up and bring it in the house. Sorry bugs and salamaders are welcome, but not baby armadillos.
