That’s Right!
It’s time for the Spring 2011 Curriculum Clean Out,
Hosted by my bloggy friend Jolanthe at Homeschool Creations!
The curriculum clean out is an opportunity for homeschooling families to pass on materials that are cluttering their closets and place them into the hands of a family who can use them!
Anyone can participate, and if your interested, head on over and join the fun!
Since we moved earlier this year, I have already done a ton
of shelf cleaning, but a few weeks ago I found this gem hiding
on the back shelf, and I’ve been saving it for today!
Princess: A Glitering Guide for Young Ladies
This is an adorable pop-up type book that I’ve had in my garage for over two years!
It is essentially new, but it did get a little banged up from sitting there so long.
So there are a few smushed corners,
but all in all it’s wonderful, unused condition.

Inside there are little tips and tricks for becoming a princess,
with topics such as:
Etiquette and Manners
Wardrobe
Accessories
Health and Beauty
Your First Banquet
Your First Ball
Prince Charming
All of the ideas and tips are wonderful,
but the book leaves it up to Mom to share that
these qualities come from God’s desire for them as women.
Which is okay, it makes for a great morning snuggle book.
I have this book for my own daughter, as well as the Knights pop-up book for my sons
and this princess book is an extra one I bought….just in case…
but you all know that I really needed more Knights books instead!
So I’m offering this glittery guide to one lucky winner!

The Princess Book would be especially enjoyable for my pre-k classroom by our 14 special princesses this year and more to come in the years following.
I am a mom of 2, princesses. But the princess I am going to give this to would be my 10 year old cousin, who, until I took her “girly” shopping yesterday, covered her face with her unbrushed hair, tries to cover her ears with her hair (her ears stick out a bit), has improving table manners, etc…etc…I take her under my wing. I would love to give her this book so that she cares a little more about herself. She says I treat her like a Barbie. LOL…and she likes it. My uncle and her mom do not have too much money, so I glady bought her two new girly outfits, including a pink bow headband which she rushed to put on when her dad came to pick her up at my house. There is a princess inside of her just waiting to bloom!Thankyou for the opportunity!
I’d give this book to my princess Frances.
