I’ve been seeing these adorable little Mother’s Day Questionnaires and I just had to participate and find out how my kids would answer these questions!

Just some backround on my kids:

Sissy, 6 year old girl
Bubba 3 year old boy

As you read Bubba’s answers you’ll start to notice that my little guy is a bit “food” orientated, as are most growing boys

As you read Sissy’s answers you’ll notice that she really wanted to get the “Right” answers.


1. What is something your mom always says to you?

Sissy(6) When She Tickles Me


5. What was your mom like as a child?

Bubba(3) Wild
Sissy(6) She had Curly Hair

6. How old is your mom?

Bubba(3) 10
Sissy(6) 27 (That’s right!)

7. How tall is your mom?

Bubba(3) So, So, So BIG
Sissy(6) About 10 inches

8. What is her favorite thing to do?

Bubba(3) Take me to Breakfast
Sissy(6) Have Fun, Play Games

9. What does your mom do when you’re not around?

Bubba(3) Sleep
Sissy(6) Sleep

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?

Bubba(3) Playing Games
Sissy(6) Sewing


11. What is your mom really good at?

Bubba(3) Playing Games
Sissy(6) Ummmm…Let’s See….Hmmm…..Sewing Clothes

12. What is your mom not very good at?

Bubba(3) She can’t fight very good.
Sissy(6) She’s not good at painting the walls. (what?)

13. What does your mom do for her job?

Bubba(3) Sweep Floors
Sissy(6) Work on the Computer

14. What is your mom’s favorite food?

Bubba(3) Chinese
Sissy(6) Pancakes

15. What makes you proud of your mom?

Bubba(3) When she brings me buckets. (referencing all the puking going on at my house lately!)
Sissy(6) When we get special lunches.

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Bubba(3) Supergirl
Sissy(6) Strawberry Shortcake

17. What do you and your mom do together?

Bubba(3) Go to the Park
Sissy(6) Play Games

18. How are you and your mom the same?

Bubba(3) Same Butt (seriously, he said that….bless his little heart!)
Sissy(6) Same Blue Eyes

19. How are you and your mom different?

Bubba(3) Taste Buds
Sissy(6) I don’t know…..we’re both girls….but you have a lot of moles.

20. How do you know your mom loves you?

Bubba(3) Because God Loves Us (doesn’t that melt your heart!)
Sissy(6) She hugs and snuggles us.


21. Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?

Bubba(3) Mom stays with me.
Sissy(6) With Dad on a Date……..without the kids.



So aparently, here I am


I’d say they’re just about right…there are many days I feel like this.

    OH MY GOSH! so cute! I love the little photo u did at the end. my son is only 2 1/2 so he’s too young to do it with. bummer, would br fun. I had NO IDEA you were 27!!!! I am too…How do you do what you do?!? wow! I’m amazed!

    What is something your mom always says to you? Not to go off the sidewalk, yard, or driveway without permission. I don’t really know. Keep working.

    What makes your mom happy? When I give her a nice present. When I don’t go on the street. When all of us have balloons and they don’t fly away in the sky.

    What makes your mom sad? When I go in a place she tells me not to or if one of us died. When I go on the street. When her balloon blows away in the sky.

    How does your mom make you laugh? By telling jokes. When she tells jokes. When she tickles me in the car.

    What was your mom like as a child? As small as me. Like an older me. She liked animal crackers.

    How old is your mom? 30. I don’t know. 60 82 80 90. Bigger.

    How tall is your mom? Almost to Daddy’s head. Bigger than me. Bigger.

    What is her favorite thing to do? Help us kids. Help us. Go sledding.
    9.

    What does your mom do when you’re not around? Look for us. Do housework. Go play basketball.

    If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? I don’t know how to answer; that’s too tricky. I don’t really know. For being a mommy.

    What is your mom really good at? Going on the computer to check messages and baking. Baking. Playing with me.
    12.

    What is your mom not very good at? Making factory food, like Honey Nut Cheerios or animal crackers. I don’t really know. Pushing buttons on the phone.

    What does your mom do for her job? Works on the computer. I don’t really know. Cuts paper.
    14.

    What is your mom’s favorite food? Cake. Animal crackers and soup. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
    15.

    What makes you proud of your mom? That I love her very much. When she hugs and kisses me. When she tickles me.

    If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? Lola Bunny. Bugs Bunny. Madeline.

    What do you and your mom do together? Ride bikes together. Watch videos together when I was potty training. Wrestle.

    How are you and your mom the same? We’re both girls. We both have red lips. We’re both tall.

    How are you and your mom different? I have blue eyes, she has green eyes. She has longer hair, I have shorter hair. We’re both little.
    20.

    How do you know your mom loves you? She’s really proud of me when I do math even though it’s new for me. She hugs and kisses me. She hits me in the eye.

    Where’s your mom’s favorite place to go? Superior, to her mom and dad’s house. The zoo. The Racoon River.

    Oops, submitted that by accident before I could color code their answers. Anyhow, the responses were always in order of age. And I have to make the disclaimer that not much my 3 year-old said is true. I’m not sure where he came up with half his answers. Anyhow, we had a lot of fun with the “test.” Thanks for the idea, Valerie. I really enjoy your blog!
