Since I’ve got a million sewing projects on my plate, I decided to chip away at them by making my little boy some summer shorts.

(I’d show you a photo of my sewing station, but I’m too embarassed at all the little piles of unused fabric, sitting there waiting for their time to shine)

And since big Sissy got to pick out her fabric for her Easter Dress, Bubba had his mind made up that he was going to be the one to choose his favorite fabrics for his little pants.

(I know right, what was I thinking letting a 3 year old do the picking and choosing….

Especially since I’m the one who has to admit that I dressed him that way!

LOL, but his choices weren’t too off the wall for his little toddler personality:

This one reminded me of his need to jump around the house…..

This one brought up memories of his need for adventures…….

And this one? Well, this just reminds me of his father…….

Seriously, I think my husband has a pair just like these in his drawer!

Too cute. We are re-working some old jeans and making them into
A-frame skirts. Since my daughter and I don’t wear jeans, I did not
want to waste the many “hand-me-downs” that come our way. Let
you know how they turn out.

    Thanks for sharing.
    Be blessed.

These are just like the ones I made for my 5 y/o son and 3 y/o dd two weekds ago! It was fun to show my son that other boy’s moms make things for them too!

Brings a tear to my eye! I used to make shorts for my kids. They would wear them to school and everyone would want a pair!
Now I am going to make some for my grandchildren.
