And since they didn’t sell disposables at the gift shop, I was forced to commit all the fun we had to my own internal memory….which if I’m lucky will last longer then it takes me to finish this post.
And since I have no amazing photos of the Museum to show you, you’ll just have to settle for this generic stock photo I pulled off the internet.
Yeah, I know. Not as exciting is it?
But you’ll be happy to know that as I was leaving the Museum I realized that not only did I forget the right tools for my regular camera, but the answer to my problems was right inside my purse the entire time……
Why didn’t I remember that my cell phone also has a built in camera feature? Because my brain has completely melted into mush, and I’m running on auto pilot most often then not. In fact I consider us lucky that we even ended up at the Museum at all, with the way I’ve been running things lately.
Sigh, I’ll get my brain back shortly, I’m sure of it.
But alas, even though we had not camera, we still were able to come home and spend the day crafting away! Sissy had a fantastic time putting together her own Covered Wagon and she was so very proud of it too!

We really utilized materials that were in our house anyway, cardboard, paper bags, and of course popsicle sticks (left over from my most recent obsession cravings for Dreyer’s Fruit Bars
…..Seriously don’t ever try these things, they’re amazingly delicious, and WAY to expensive for the way I’ve been scarfing them down.
Hmmm, speaking of……….

Quite an authentic looking craft!
My son just read the Josephina Story Quilt. It is about traveling westward and making a squares for a quilt along the way. Being such a lame mom, however, I didn’t even think to have him do a craft.
We all have those days where we seem to forget a lot, or maybe our head is just on the clouds. :) The wagon looks adorable, btw!
