All Done!
Every child loves to garden!  These
garden markers are made from
simple popsicle sticks and help
children personalize their garden.
We added some extras like jewels
and glitter pipe cleaners to ours,
but keep in mind that things need to
hold up to the weather.

  • Who created the world?
  • What special job did God give to
    mankind?
  • What are some ways we can keep
    care of our Earth?
  • Learn more about what the Bible
says, here is a helpful list to get
    started.
Step 1
Using your construction paper and a
ruler, measure out a bunch of equal
strips. (we used the long side of the
paper, and the width of the ruler for
the measurments.)
Step 2
Cut down each line so that you have a
bunch of strips.  Cut whatever colors
you want in your project, but you'll
need about 10 strips.
Step 3
Write your bible verse onto the strips.
Since we're making this for Earth Day
we copied the verse from John 3:16.
Keep the verse in the middle of the
strip.
Step 4
Layer up your strips in the order you'd
like them, and punch a hole through
them at both ends.
Step 5
Insert a brad in each end of the
strips.  This will keep them together
and still allow you to move them as
you fan them out.
Step 6
Take your pipe cleaner and your
foam stickers and lay them out like
pictured above.  Sandwich the pipe
cleaner between two hearts so that
there are no sticky sides showing,
and the pipe cleaner runs down the
middle of the hearts.
Step 7
Attach the pipe cleaner to the top
brad of the globe.  We just
wrapped ours around and cut off
any extra that was poking through.
Fan out your strips so that they form a
sphere.  Hang your globes up in the
classroom for a fun decoration!
