I know I'm not the only one who has ever had to hold a Spelling Lesson in
kid to the doctor, everyone's going with you, and school must go on!
These little clipboards have saved the day more then once!
Step 3
Once you've got your paper, start glueing by
painting a layer of Modge Podge directly on
Step 2
Have children cut out different shapes that
they would like for their boards.  Encourage
them to think of a theme and help them with
the more detailed cutting.
Step 1
Gather some fun scrap paper (this is a
good time to let go of all those pages of
scrapbook paper that you're still hanging
on to.... but never going to use!)
  • Blank Clipboard (Office
    Supply Stores)
  • Scrap Paper
  • Modge Podge
  • Paintbrush
Materials
Step 5
Paint another layer of Modge Podge over
the top of the paper to seal the deal.
Step 4
Lay your desired paper on top of the glue.
Step 7
Don't worry if your paper goes past your
board, you can cut it off later!
Step 6
Begin to fill up your board by adding
various papers, each time putting a layer of
Modge Podge below and above the paper.
Hint:
You can add extra personalizations by
writing messages on the paper before
gluing them!
Step 7 (or Step #1)
Yikes, guess we should have thought of this
sooner.  If you want to have a different color
for your background get out your paint and
give your clipboard a nice wash first!
Once you've got your board how you like it,
set it aside to dry!  When it's dry the paper
a great lap-desk for children to bring along
for the ride.
